Of Oranges and Baseballs and Peeky-boo

After the disaster that was the first baseball experience, we gave it a little time and then tried again. Since then we've had some mixed success. He will happily whack at the ball, but if you try take a turn or attempt to give his some guidance on his skills, you risk a bit of a meltdown. We're trying to put the caputz on meltdowns in general, but that's another post!

Last week it was a beautiful day and we were having a playdate with Nani and decided to give the ol' ball and bat another go. He was doing pretty good. I mean, his stance and swing need a bit of work but he does connect with the ball and it does move. Plus he looks darn cute doing it!

While Austin was busy whacking at the ball, McKenna and Nani checked out the oranges on the tree. McKenna was fascinated with them.

Then both kids practiced their own versions of peeky-boo!
