ABCs with Nani Revisted

Back in March, I captured this video of Austin reading his beloved ABC book with my mom. He was just shy of 2.5 years at that point. In the last 3 months, he has read it at least once a week since then. The book has it's own special place on a separate book shelf. It has progressed now to he has to sit in the rocking chair and we all have to sit on the floor in front of him and listen intently as he reads to us.

What he says on each page has changed too, as you'll see. It's changed slowly, but continually, over the months - adding a word or description here & there. All by himself too. We've never given him stuff to say! It's so fun to hear his enunciation change too. He's getting so clear! Well, to me, he is! For the rest of you, I've included subtitles!!

*The subtitles on "M" say "M, Allison(?) mittens - (He says Yes when we ask if he's saying Allison, but we don't know why he would say that)" Since I made the video, the word "elephant" has come up as a possibility. He says yes when you ask either that or Allison! He says the elephant in Tarzan has mittens but the best we can figure out it's when the elephant wears the "puppet" of the professor. Really I have no idea!! Hopefully some day the mystery will be solved!
