Go, go, go, gooooooo!!!

Austin gets bored these days waiting for me to take care of McKenna. It's not so bad now, but when she was newborn she would take up to an hour to eat. And then there were all the dirty diapers to be changed. And then she had to be rocked to sleep. And then Austin and I would get to play together for maybe about an hour before we had to repeat it all again. During that stage, he developed an interesting way of asking to go out and play that clearly expressed his frustration and boredom! He would just start hollering "Go, go, go, gooooooooo!" This is so frequently heard at our house (sometimes he wakes up and starts at it, so I know it's not just a boredom thing, he just likes to GO!) that I had to document it.

The first clip is more how he usually says it. The 2nd and 3rd he was a little silly but you can see the passion with which he wants to Goooooooo! Plus the weird face he makes in the 2nd clip just kills me, so I had to include it too.

Funnily enough, at the time I had no idea what he was saying at the end of the 3rd clip. I thought he was just being silly. It wasn't until I started watching it so I could post it did I figure out what that was. He's quacking. Yes, those are quacks! He wanted to go see the ducks. Not sure if we actually saw ducks that day, but I hope we did! He was doing a good job of telling me what he wanted, I just need to learn Austin-speak a little better, I guess!

Gosh, I love this kid! He cracks me up. Never a dull moment, I promise!
