Austin loves PB&Js. And he loves his PB&Js cut up as a Choo Choo Moose.

I'm still not sure if he just has the word "caboose" wrong...



but it kinda does look like a moose!



Either way, he loves his Choo Choo Moose!

We Like to Babysit

I officially got to break in my Auntie wings with my first Katelyn babysitting gig while her momma went to an appointment. I sent her back in one piece, so I hope I get to do it again!

Austin and McKenna hope so too! They had so much fun having her over at our house!

I Heart Hearts

My mom had the tradition of always making us a nice Valentine's Day breakfast of french toast with hearts cut out of the middle. I don't know how to make french toast but I do make a mean pancake! I made heart shaped pancakes for all my lovely loves!

It also happened to be McKenna's first pancake experience, which she thoroughly enjoyed!










Then while Daddy was gone at work, Austin and I made heart shaped sugar cookies for him. Austin is getting to be a great help in the kitchen! He helped me mix the up the dough and then after it chilled, he helped me roll it out and cut out hearts. He did so good!







I think they came out really good!

A Whale of a Good Time

I mentioned in an earlier post that we had been trying to plan a whale watching trip with our buddies. We finally got a weekend where the majority of us could go and when the tickets weren't already sold out to a whole herd of boy scouts! Austin and I (McKenna had a daddy day) went with Rebecca & Jack (Sammy had a grandma day) and Kathy & "E" ("N" had a cousin day)! It was so so so nice only having one kid each!! Made the day so much more enjoyable and easy! I was thinking it would be so nice to have not have to take the time to put McKenna down to jump over the side of the boat in the case that Austin decided to go swimming! Thankfully that didn't happen anyway, but with this boy, you never know!







It was a GORGEOUS day!



Just like the last time we went whale watching, Austin could have cared less about the whales. He was very interested, however, in the trucks I brought to keep him occupied when we were searching for whales. Of course, right after I busted them out, we saw whales and pulling him away from said trucks only resulted in a tantrum! So I enjoyed the whales immensely again, and Austin enjoyed his trucks. And I think he got a glimpse of a whale or two sometime during the day!
